As a member of Equity, this silly cyclist has full public liability insurance. He also has an enhanced discloser certificate/CRB check.
If your event requires more than one entertainer, this is not a problem as the silly cyclist performs alone and with other clowns, jugglers and stilt walkers.
The silly cyclist as a juggler is also known as part of the double act.
The silly cyclist has Static Shows, can be a Clown on a unicycle, Slap stick and verbal comedy with a large helping of impressive skills make for a very entertaining show. Skills included in the show are five ball juggling, ladder balancing, 6 foot high unicycling and fire or knive juggling. There may even be a little magic.
Shows are performed in both a slapstick clown style and a comedy juggler street show style.
See the silly cyclist (when off his bike) juggle a knife, a fire torch and an axe on the 6 foot high unicyle.
Walkabout Performances. The silly cyclist (when off his barmy bike)juggling on stilts.
Also known as mix & mingle. The silly cyclist (when off his barmy bike) performs on the move in a very interactive style through crowds, up and down queues and wherever required. Using stilt walking, juggling, magic, balloons and his mini clown bicycle. Walkabout performances are great for any event which requires roaming entertainment such as stilt walkers around a venue. Walkabout is suitable for almost all types of events especially store promotions, fetes, shopping centres, festivals and any type of funday in general. Walkabout is performed in a variety of different looks e.g. clown, juggler etc.
Stilt Walking.
Although stilt walking comes under walkabout performances the silly cyclist (when off his barmy bike) felt that it needs a mention of its own as it is probably what the silly cyclist (when off his barmy bike) is booked for most. Stilt walking is a fantastic form of performance and is suited to any event, it is highly visual and, with the right character or person attached, highly entertaining. The silly cyclist (when off his barmy bike) is a very interactive character, some would say cheeky too (The silly cyclist thought they are right) and combining stilts, juggling, magic and a pretty daft sense of humour makes a performance well worth booking. Stilt walking is ideal for meet & greet, promotional events, parades and any event where the entertainers are requested to roam. The silly cyclist (when off his barmy bike) performs a few different stilt characters listed below but if you think of something not listed please ask as some characters can be organised as a one off, as some have in the past.
Stilts Bicycle. This was new for 2003. Just in case you can't comprehend a stilts bike (you are not alone!) let me fill you in. The silly cyclist (when off his barmy bike) stilts bike is a converted 15 speed mountain bike. The seat and handle bar stems have been extended to approximately 6 feet high. It is as a normal bicycle only taller. What is not normal (in fact rather rare) is that the bike is riden whilst wearing a pair of stilts! A great walkabout act that really catches peoples attention. On board the silly cyclist (when off his barmy bike) carries in his basket various props so that he can stop and entertain with his juggling skills, magic, balloon modelling or just stop for a daft chat. On the rear of the bicycle is the optional bubble machine which gives a lovely effect as the silly cyclist (when off his barmy bike) cruises along at not exactly a 'Tour de France' pace!
Clown
The silly cyclist (when off his barmy bike) is a clown, juggler and stilt walker all in one. Let this character entertain at your event with his various impressive and bizarre skills. If your event requires a traditionally stripey trousered stilt walker then this is the guy for you.
Comedy Juggler or stilt walker in red suit, the silly cyclist (when off his barmy bike) performs both with and without clown make up, this is without. Make up is usually left off for more adult performances and circus workshops. There will still with no doubt be plenty of clowning around whatever the silly cyclist (when off his barmy bike) decides to wear. Speaking of costume, the silly cyclist (when off his barmy bike) is usually seen in a tux, a bright red suit or a even a nice little stripey number. The tuxedo look is a must for evening functions and also works really well in the most unconventional situations.
Blag-it the Wizard.
This wizard is more of a clown character than a magician, hence the name. This is a really daft character not only suited to Halloween. A great walkabout performed on and off of stilts.
Victorian Juggler.
Clown in victorian style top hat and tails on and off of stilts, with and without make-up. This is very popular for Christmas events but available all year.
Medieval jester, what more can be said? Suitable for, well shall we say, 'Medieval events'?
Circus Workshops. circus skills workshops or juggling workshops can be arranged in or out doors, you supply the sunshine!
Circus skills workshops (or juggling workshops) can be organised for anything from 1 hour to a multiple day course in Circus Skills. Workshops are for children and adults. Skills taught include Ball, Club and Ring Juggling, Devil Sticks, Diabolo, Plate Spinning,Wire Walking or Tight Rope, Stiltwalking and Unicycling. Workshops include a demonstration of skills leading to hands on experience. Great packages on offer combine a clown show and a workshop.
Fire Juggling.
Very visual indeed, the silly cyclist (when off his barmy bike) performs a variety of impressive stunts with fire including Fire Eating. Although mostly suited to the dark, Fire Juggling is also impressive in the day. The silly cyclist (when off his barmy bike) is safety aware and does have adequate public liability insurance.
Ultra Violet Sensitive Juggling and Glow Clubs
Mainly suitable for nightclubs. Juggling props including Balls, Clubs and Diabolo are used. Depending on venue restrictions, this and fire provide an excellent package for nightclubs.
Christmas
At Christmas the silly cyclist (when off his barmy bike) double act will be performing as two stilt walking angels. A great meet & greet act or general walkabout. These characters will be using their juggling skills and silly sense of humour to entertain at corporate parties, Christmas lights switch on's and various other types of events. At night and in low light, juggling can be in the form of very dazzling and programmable glow clubs and balls. These clubs flash, change colour and look fantastic.
These angelic beings are available all year round.
Stilt walking police
Very well suited to Victorian events at Christmas, these old style Victorian Policemen are also available as a solo or double act. Not really to be relied upon for law enforcement but definately a lot of fun!
Long leg of the law available all year round.
The silly cyclist (when off his barmy bike) does Santa Claus.
Santa performed by a professional entertainer is a great walkabout for events at Christmas.
Santa with a little added magic!
Victorian stiltwalker
The silly cyclist (when off his barmy bike) will also, as usual be offering the very popular Victorian stilt walking juggler, fire juggler and the usual clown capers listed above with a hint of fairy lights and tinsel for the season.
If what you want isn't listed above eg. themed characters for a specific event, do call and something will conjure up.
